If you need just a little more help putting it all together, we offer in-home consultations and full workroom services as well.

Front Door Fabrics was established in 2007 when Karen Dixon was given 48 hours to decide to buy Roger Brothers Fabrics before it closed. Encouraged by friends and family, Karen brought together the talents of Sandy Fulginiti and Karen Wagener as partners. Together, the three “Material” Girls opened Front Door Fabrics, a stylish and beautiful fabric boutique tucked away on Monroe Road.

Karen Wagener is our “master of the possible,” with over two decades of interior decorating experience and a creative sense that thrives on recreating. She loves to work with clients to refine their existing decor by adding room freshening fabrics and finishing touch accents to transform a room. She also enjoys travel, reading, running and family time with her husband and two children.

Karen Dixon brings many years of retail and in-home decorating experience to the team. Her passion is in translating our customers’ unique visions for their homes into design and décor solutions that are both immediately transforming and will also stand the test of time. Beyond the store, she enjoys teaching Bible studies, leading worship at her church, and spending time with her husband and three children.

Sandy Fulginiti has a lifelong love affair with interior and fashion design and provides our customers with a well-recognized specialty in decorative accents, accessories and putting just the right “finishing touches” on a space. She also enjoys: family time with her husband, sons and new daughter-in-law; running; collecting timeless quotes; and supporting both her church and her community.
